    I think it’s a bit of a joke that Commonwealth citizens who have her majesty as head of state have to take the test, where the French, Italians etc (generally Europeans that don’t speak English as a first language) don’t have to! What ever happened to common sense??? By the way congrats on passing!!

      There isn’t much logic is there? Seems being part of the Commonwealth means very little as far as visa and citizenship situations.

    Hello there Michelle “bluenoisegirl” i congratulate you, i guess you found UK the country which suites you well, did you lost canadian citizenship? I myself will also fight tooth and nails to move to another country as i got sick and tired of my home country…

      Luckily I didn’t have to give up my Canadian citizenship, and it’s not something I would ever do. I love my home country, I didn’t leave there because I didn’t like it, I left for the opportunities, history, experiences etc that London offers.
