Canada Day London is always a special occasion. There is nothing like gathering with thousands of your fellow country men in Trafalgar Square to make one feel patriotic and a little home sick. This year as in years gone by the weather cooperated and everyone had a grand time watching food demonstrations, street hockey, having a Canadian beer and listing to some Canadian music. My favourite part is always the end when everyone sings O’Canada.
This year I had more home comforts to look forward to because the following day I was attending a fundraiser at Jamie’s Fifteen Restaurant. A 4 course menu made entirely with Nova Scotia (my home province) produce, created by Jamie Oliver and 2 of the best chefs from Nova Scotia and the apprentices at Jamie’s Fifteen Restaurant. Stay tuned for more on that!
